The cavalry troops in the Civil War were like today's "jet fighters" or Navy SEAL's: elite units with flashy uniforms. These "glamour boys" of the armed forces were the romantic warriors riding off into battle as embellished in stories and later movies. Our Civil War Rebel Jock is a statue of a C.S. Civil War cavalry soldier in full uniform. Rebel Jock memorializes the sacrifices of the Confederate army in the U.S. Civil War.

Truly an original work of art, the Rebel Jock can "stand guard" at your home to greet family and visitors. War memorials on the courthouse square typically cost $100,000-500,000 or more, but you can own your own "mini-memorial" for your front yard for around $500!

Rebel Jocks come specially detailed and authentic-looking from head to toe: strap painted in on the forage cap, "old-timey" mustache, red chevrons of the corporal rank, and red trouser stripes.

The Civil War Rebel Jock is fully-painted with gray, red, almond, brown, green, and black oil-based enamels- the same kind of paint used on farm machinery and little red wagons that are used a lot and face the elements. Paint is chip, fade, and UV resistant and will last for many years. The statue itself is made of non-rusting Aluminum so it too will last for generations.

A ring is included for the Rebel Jock's hand, but these Jocks also work well with our optional oil and solar lanterns(lantern sold separately- CLICK HERE for more information).

Jock is primed with standard automotive primer and then painted with standard oil-base enamel paint in the following color scheme as shown above:

Gloss Hunter Green: Top of base

Gloss Leather Brown: Hair, eyebrows, and mustache

Gloss Almond: Face and hands

Gloss Safety Red: Chevrons, collar, cuffs, and trouser stripe.

Gloss Smoke Gray: Coat, cap, and pants

Gloss Black: Eyeballs, cap brim and strap, boots and bottom of base.
